Running Sisters running weekend - Saturday morning

Well... 31mins non stop run then 7mins of stretching and walking.

Breakfast then Zuma fitness dance party with Paula - brilliant brilliant fun. Gorgeous sports massage with Georgina - worked on my shoulders and legs

Had ten mins of circuits and now it's Gin's running safety talk :)

Having best time ever x

Solent Running Sisters running weekend - first run done :)

Omg, I feel fabulous :)
20mins non stop running, then 15mins walking then 15mins non stop running with 8mins of stretching.

I've showered, am drinking water, have made my name badge and am eating a small square of very squidgy chocolate chunked brownie.

I am very happy.

Slow and steady

Swimming yesterday was brilliant and my ankle felt great. Think the 1725m of swimming really helped my rehab. Plenty of stretching the ankle out and using it while the water ensured it was supported at all times. Very happy :)

Then woke up this morning feeling like poo :(

The lurgy that's been decimating colleagues at work has finally got me to - called in sick and slept till 2pm. Comfort food of chicken and chips and chocolate so I'm now not feeling that positive for any loss at fat club tomorrow evening.

Slow and steady - both my recovery from injury and now the lurgy. Time for bed. You really can't underestimate how vital sleep is for recovery - for both injury and illness x
