Day 8

Yesterday was tough
Today - so much better
Why??

I think it's because as soon as I woke up 8:55am I did the PE with Joe Wickes. Had breakfast then did Jo's Stretching and Yoga before heading out for a 40min run.

Popped to butchers under Central Bridge - got chicken and some eggs.

Then home for lunch, bit of TV, phone consultation with Lindsey then work.

Today so much better!!!!

Also chatted to Andy one of the diabetic nutritionists for Southampton and the surrounding areas. Going to explore the low carb diet once finished with Lindsey - 120-150g of carbs a day. Will do some research then chat in May.

Monday 30 March 2020

Day 7

Harder to get motivated today.
Pile of washing up to do, should hoover and clean. Just not feeling it.

So went for a walk.
You never regret a work out whatever you do. Wasn't that far, maybe an hour of gentle exercise. Then work.

Will def be doing a mixture of classes tomorrow. Maybe I need to actually sweat...

Sunday 29 March 2020

Day 6

Clock didn't do it's thing so woke at 6am to find it was actually 7am

The joys of WFH...
From waking up to being at work in under 5minutes!!!

Managed a walk to the coop then in for the night.

Day 5 (well yesterday)

Yesterday was mainly spent at work, then a 2.5 hour walk (bumped into Pam on the common)  and then houseparty pub night with the girls.

Friday 27 March 2020

Day 4

I'm utterly shattered!!!
Think I may have overdone the online fitness classes...

Today I've done...
The HB social ride - basically me on my stationary bike chatting to Ant, Kelly and Lindsey while cycling for an hour.
Then PE with Joe Wickes
Suddenly realised it was nearly time for Maxine's Pilates class at 11am
Topped off with a 4K, 30min run

Shower, lunch and pretty much been sat in my armchair for the rest of the day!!!!!

Think I'll sleep well tonight.

And the last episode of Star Trek - Picard was great fun.

Thursday 26 March 2020

Day 3

Hoorah for beautiful weather!!

Walk
Turbo on the balcony
Nearly did some other classes but didn't :)
Chatted to CB on her run from my balcony, read a bit, did my IV expenses, ate, drank.

Felt as if today was a rest day which was actually much needed and very much enjoyed.

Wednesday 25 March 2020

Day 2 - yet more fitness classes!!!

Cycled to Timmies with some shopping so able to have a socially distancing catch up then down the road for the same with Rose and Tilda.

Then Yoga with Jo
PE with Joe

Work with breaks for
Michela's aero-conditioning
HB / Challenging events HIIT

My body is sore - it's a great feeling!!!
Swashbuckler half IM is off.

Will use this time to do as much online fitness as I can and also run/walk/cycle when I can.

***reaches for cowbell*** we've got this 🤗💪

Tuesday 24 March 2020

Day 1 of lockdown...

So much quieter on the roads this morning - went for a walk at 9:30ish
Was out for nearly an hour - so beautiful and sunny
Then thought I could do with maybe a chicken and some bread so checked out the coop - no meat so thought Lidl's - queuing to get in.
Rice Up Wholefoods. Perfect. Bread, some herbs and seeds and got some protein powder to supplement fact not got loads of protein in the house.

Then home for...
Gabe's Leg session at 11am
Then PE with Joe Wickes

I am convinced that when we come out the other side of this I will be so much fitter / leaner and my flat will be pristine!!

Monday 23 March 2020

Looks like we’re in lockdown

Today I mostly did fitness classes!

Hurtbox / Challenging Events Strength and Conditioning
Joe Wickes PE class on YouTube
Adams Core Fitness - Sport and Wellbeing
Michela's Latin Fusion

Plus worked.
My diary is now virtual classes, Skype and Houseparty.
Check out last week's page - all cancelled stuff!!!

I have a feeling we can run/ cycle / walk but alone or with a family member. Be interesting to see where this ends up...

First weekend of Socially Distancing

Saturday 21/3
Fabulous run with Vik to Netly and back along Weston Shore 1:59, 12.7km on Saturday then nipped to the co-op for some bits then in rest of the day

Sunday 22/3
Fabulous cycle with Jenny through the New Forest for a picnic at Lepe Beach then home. Out for 4 hours, 65km.
Then in for the rest of the day

W/C Monday 16/3

Started with me working at Wide Lane as very few people will be there so safer for diabetic me. Def feeling very looked after by work 🤗

I also cancelled HB session Monday evening. Starting to realise that if I get the Coronavirus it'll be god awfully awful with my immune system already working overtime trying to keep me all in balance due to my sugary blood...

Hmmm....

Great phone consultation with Lindsey - nutritionist. Def less of me which is great.
And I'm working from home from Wednesday. This is getting very real...

So Wednesday 18/3 - all set up for working from home. So boring!!! So went for a run 35mins after work :)

Thursday - found some colleagues. Went for a run with Charlotte - 1:04, 8.5km then LRR S&C session

And schools have closed.

Friday - so odd.
Working from home getting bit easier...
Love the Houseparty App. Chatted to chums 👍

Although Bobby didn't last long as he kept wobbling and clattering - very off putting!!!

W/C Monday 9th March - still out and about

All fine this week
Hard week at Hurtbox Monday, Wednesday, Friday and an hour Sunday morning.

Went for a run Tuesday 10/3 - 35mins, 4.5km

Admired A's new flooring and finished conservatory Wednesday after work

Great Jet Washing session Thursday morning - amazed by the high tides!

HB Friday but no swimming - must get back in the pool!!!

Then a lovely weekend.
Gods House Tower with Tri club for tea and cake, haircut - Sellys was so quiet.
Loved the Southampton Philamonic Choir in Winchester Cathedral - def less people than there should have been...
Sunday - an hour of HB Endurance then the girls minus Jo and H for brunch. Loved it. But will this be the last get together for awhile????

Tuesday 10 March 2020

Good start to the week

Fabulous fabulous weekend (girls in London, Kazzie in Bath, pub for Pammie's bday, London for Fresty's) then a great HB session yesterday and just back from a run - will have breakfast now :)

Monday 2 March 2020

Back on it - 12 weeks to the Swashbuckler

Am feeling super inspired from the triathlon festival

Great HB session today, jet washed yesterday, swam Saturday morning before the Tri festival.
For me - consistency of swimming so I'm on the bike in good time so not last finisher barely scraping through the cut off on the 31/5/20.

Game on!!
