What a wonderful weekend.
Southampton Parkrun 5k 35mins then cake bites for Tamsyn's birthday :)
Was tough as after about 1km I just wanted to stop. How on earth am I going to find 42km within the next seven weeks???
Then off to Gosport and home via Winchester to eat pizza and hang out with Clare, Elizabeth, Cliffie, Jo, Karen, Toby, Rufus and Esme.
Quick cycle to Mettricks Woolston but no one there so home and bed by 10:30pm
Up at 6am, breakfast then Sue collected me at 7:15am - parked and ready to head to start by 7:45am so decided to sit in the warm car for awhile. Finally had to brave the cold :(
Anyways at 8:45am we were off. And again all I thought was jeez there's no way I'm marathon ready. Sigh. But hey the run was fun - beautifully sunny and clear with amazing views.
The gang cheered me in - 1:12.54

Collected bag, drank tea, showered in Jo's hotel room, farmers market then roast at the Willow Tree. Awesome.
Didn't manage the American Football Southampton Stags Vs OBU Panthers but I was just knackered.
Am now sat in my armchair eating a lot and watching Netflix. What a fantastic weekend x
