Epic Weekend 2/3 April

Epic weekend of Ride London training…

Saturday = 400m swim TT 8.44 then 4K run 30mins plus bike marshalling at Tri Club's Tim Wilkes Training Day (then lunch - yum)

Sunday = approx 110km of cycling!
Morning was a glorious 50km, via The Bakehouse in Beaulieu for brunch,  gravel bike ride in the New Forest. Quick snack at home then a 50km out and back to West Meon to pick up some Facebook market place 'new to me' bike shoes.
Home for a shower and some food then off to Mettricks Portwood for a cuppa and a catch up.
#GettingRideLondonReady while hoping to go sub 7.5 at the Swashbuckler half IM in July 💪

Mojo where art thou?

Slowly slowly getting my mojo back
About 11/12 weeks to Ride London so maybe 16 weeks to the Swashbuckler half Ironman.

I'm not worried but I do need to start knuckling down and start to train consistently

I'm 77kg want to be 69kg
Parkrun last week talking non stop 35:33
Would want to stop cycling after about 70km which is an issue as Ride London is about 160km.
Swim - I can swim 1900m no problem but I'd like to do it comfortably in under 45minutes

So… plenty to work on 🤗

How’s the training going Lizzie?

Well…

Not bad thanks for asking xx

Last week smashed it!!
Swam, biked, ran and walked
This week - I've blinked and it's now Friday 😂

Swam this evening, running and swimming tomorrow and commuter cycling to Fareham on Sunday.

Keeping my mantra - consistency consistency consistency, and knowing I have a 100mile Ride London to do end of May and the Swashbuckler again in July, I just need to keep going.

So feeling pretty good.

Update re: Brighton half.
Not doing this now as going to Debs and Ingie's party
But I will continue to run and I'm doing parkrun in the 26/2 so looking forward to seeing how my running is going.

Then quick turnaround and off to the common for a walk with Vik, Shaz and Karyn
