Just under 2 hours from 2025

I am so excited for 2025
I've booked events, I'm doing online coaching with coach Gemma Dobson, my recovery is going well, I still get sore but each month my body feels stronger so that's brilliant 

Mum is so much better #BrokenHipRecovery
Work is great fun #LoveMyJob
Still loving the work 4 days / 4 day mini break.

Plus super excited to hopefully be able to fully enjoy CLS unlike Jan this year when it was a lovely 2 weeks but was pretty pants activity wise xx

My A race is the swashbuckler standard tri early July 
But I've got CC6 Jan, Winchester 10k Feb, Eastleigh 10k March, Fast twitch sprint tri and Southampton half April and then whatever else I fancy 🤗

Two years ago I was all Ironman here is come 2023
Last year I was all focused on whether I'd be able to run / bike / swim / compete again
This year it's going to be getting back doing everything I love without worrying about anything other than normal fitness levels 

So excited xxx

Mile of miles 10:51

I am feeling rather epic

Southampton tri club organised a mile of miles at the track this evening. 8 teams of 5 with each team member running a mile - so 4 laps of the track

I did the 4th leg in my team 
It felt great 
I reckon I could have gone a little bit quicker 
Weather wasn't great though but such a fabulous atmosphere with everyone cheering everyone on 

This time last year I was still using one crutch. I'd been swimming a few times. I think I'd launched myself into the stationary bike from my bed one or two times but no outside cycling, absolutely no running or any fitness classes 

And now look at me!
X4 laps round the track feeling strong 
Absolutely no pain in my ribs after the park run wipe out in early November 

I reckon I'm ready to ease back into my training 

One slight issue - my left hip flexor is very sore. My right a little bit sore but my left is super sore. So I need to monitor this and remember it's still barely 17months since my accident
